Privacy Policy

What this website collects when you visit it or get in touch, and what it does not.

Last updated

This website is operated by SMART CODE STUDIO S.R.L., and Daniel Zaharia is responsible for it and its content. It has no accounts, no forms, and no newsletter, so the only personal information it handles is described below.

Analytics

The site uses OpenPanel, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to see which pages are visited and how people find them. OpenPanel runs without cookies and does not store anything in your browser.

When you visit a page, OpenPanel records:

  • the page you visited and the page or site that sent you here
  • your browser, operating system, and device type
  • an approximate location (country and city), estimated from your IP address
  • clicks on links that lead to other websites

The analytics script is loaded from openpanel.dev. The data it records is sent to an OpenPanel server that I host myself, and it is used only to understand how the site is used. It is not sold, shared for advertising, or combined with other data to identify you.

Server logs

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited time.

When you get in touch

If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. I use it only to reply and to continue the conversation you started.

This site links to other websites, such as the App Store, Google Play, LinkedIn, X, and GitHub. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR give you these rights.
